Some of the trails are specifically designed for snowboarding purposes.
RISOUL- french ski resort known for excellent snow conditions and 300 sunny days a year is situated in the middle of the high Alps area, approximately 50 kilometers from Briancon – Serre Chevalier. On the 600 acre snow covered area are 185 kilometers of ski trails, 116 ski slopes (21 green, 46 blue, 40 red and 10 black) and 55 ski lifts in between 1 .650 and 2.750 meters above sea level. For SNOWBOARD lovers, there is 550 m SURFLAND vertical slope, 2 kilometers long. Due to the quality and number of accommodation capacities, big ski resort with all types of ski slopes, numerous sports, recreational and apres ski content, Risoul has got all the conditions to satisfy even the most demanding clientele.
Accommodation capacities are situated directly by the lifts (ski in – ski out) at the very ski resort at 1.850 meters above sea level and consist of several apartment complexes with 800 different types of 3* and 4* apartments in total. There are 4.500 beds and the apartments are fully equipped, with balconies and ski storage. Facilities in the village: restaurants, pubs, taverns, markets, shop and repair service for skis and ski equipment, shopping center with various shops, disco club, cinema, skating rink.
